Jakarta, 18 February 2026 – In February 2026, i3L University Skinovation conducted a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) training for PT Sinar Alfa Omega as part of efforts to strengthen laboratory quality standards and regulatory compliance in the cosmetics industry. The training was held on Feb. 12, with a focus on improving laboratory quality management systems and enhancing the competence of teams involved in formulation activities and product development activities.
In the cosmetics industry, the implementation of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is essential to ensure that testing processes are conducted systematically, properly documented, and capable of producing valid and traceable data. GLP training plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and scientific accountability of laboratory results, ensuring that all analytical activities meet audit and regulatory requirements. Through this training, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of laboratory organizational structures, personnel responsibilities, documentation systems, and operational quality control.
The training materials were developed based on GLP principles established by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, a globally recognized reference for non-clinical laboratory studies. This alignment ensures that the practices introduced are consistent with both national expectations and international standards.
This professional GLP training program not only delivers structured knowledge but also opensup opportunities for further assistance in strengthening laboratory quality management systems and regulatory compliance frameworks. The program is expected to support cosmetic companies in producing accurate and reliable test data that is prepared for audit and regulatory inspection processes. Looking ahead, i3L plans to continue developing professional training programs that support industry competitiveness while expanding collaboration with strategic partners across various sectors.
